Billy Ashford, Head Golf Pro at Boca Lago Golf & Country Club, is a PGA Professional 
with a long history of training both champion and amateur golfers.  Trained by some of the most notable and respected instructors of the game, including Bob Tosky and Jack Lumkin, this native New Yorker and Florida State University graduate brings his 25 years of expertise to his adult and junior students with every lesson. His Bash Golf method enables him to connect with his students in a unique way. He has been able to effectively work with each student's individual swing and their commitment to improve, while also understanding their physical and mental capabilities. Students get their own 
personalized plan, no matter what their skill level. Billy’s passion for the game of golf motivates his students to want to perfect their game, all while having a great time! 


Ed Segala has been the Head Golf Professional at Boca Lago Country Club since September of 2001. He began his career 26 years ago at Boca Lago as an Assistant Pro. As Head Pro at Boca Lago, Ed has introduced a number of innovative concepts to increase member participation and improve playing ability.  Throughout his career, Ed has successfully competed in tournament competition by winning the Chapter Championship for the Southeast Chapter of the South Florida Section and the Pro-Pro Championship of the Southeast Chapter. As an Assistant Pro, he was a top-five money winner for the Southeast Chapter Assistant's Association for two consecutive years.

Since the 2018 golf course redesign, Ed has successfully recruited new members and continually engages South Florida golfing groups, inviting them to experience the new and improved golf course and Golf Academy-level practice facilities. Prior to beginning his career in Club Management, Ed pursued his dream of playing on the PGA Tour. He is a graduate of the University of Miami’s School of Business, receiving a B.A. in Marketing and an M.B.A. in Finance.
